Horn-Rimmed Glasses is a super hero!

Okay- I'm not sure if I want to be adopted by horn-rimmed glasses or marry him- tonight's episode (Company Man) proved what I knew that he is a good guy. It was probably the best episode all season. I admit that I am biased because I love H.R.G. aka Mr. Bennett. I am kind of loving him sans-glasses though too- Roooaaaaarrrr! I am actually re-watching it now. Plus- isn't it amazing how much younger they can make people look shooting in black and white? What I don't understand is the whole shooting the Invisible Man. When HRG first shot him it seemed like it was an accident or someone else pulled the trigger- and the rest of the shots though were done by him in anger. That still doesn't make sense to me. Do you know which character really swayed me tonight- Mrs. Sandra Bennett- aka Claire's mom. She actually came off as a decent person- a likeable person tonight. She's so accepting of Claire's power rather than freaked out- which is what I thought she would do. I'm tearing up just thinking about the last scene- it was so sad.

Oscar Comedy Musical

hahaha

Super Mario Brothers

College students performing a 'live-action' skit of the Super Mario Brothers video game. It's pretty good! You can tell the people played a lot of video games when they were younger! My brother Nate should enjoy it.

Rainn Wilson monologue

He is hosting SNL tonight and his monologue was really good. They had to do an Office one sometime and Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis could totally replace Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski they looked exactly like them. Then Rashida Jones showed up as Karen in the middle of a hallway- it was a blink and miss it cameo. Kenan Thompson as Stanley and Lorne as a Michael Scott were alright too I guess. We'll see how the rest of the show goes.
Oops! I forgot to mention Amy Poehler as Angela-like. She was pretty good at being awesomely frigid. I am currently watching the 'White Possum Scream' clip- yikes!

All the church cancelations are going past on the bottom- it will be a baby making day tomorrow morning in Eastern South Dakota. I'll have to keep track of how many babies are born nine months from now- which will be roughly November? Yes everyone will be having housebound sex except for me.

Not my Harry!

Okay- I have seen the almost naked pictures of Daniel 'Harry Potter' Radcliffe and I have ha-cha-chaed him a couple of times, but actually seeing his penis? I clicked on the site that Best Week Ever had for the uncensored version and I chose the right path. I didn't scroll down to see it I just closed the box. I'm very proud of myself because I don't think that I could watch my movies without seeing his uncircumsized penis ( I know because BWE said so!)

So may this forever be known as the day I almost saw Harry Potter's wee wee!

This video is a piece of genius

or craziness and lots of time on someone's hands- I'm not sure- either way I kind of dig it.

Best night of TV

The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson-2/22/07

I am watching the show because Mark Ruffalo is a guest. They just had a little segment with Tim Meadows that was about the presidential race mainly for the Democrats. I like his slogan for Barrack Obama. 'Vote for Obama or I'll bitch-slap your mama!'

Mark is on and cute as usual. I never watch Craig Ferguson and I really should check it out more often. The one show I feel bad for not watching near enough of is Conan. I will catch it about once a month and laugh like a lunatic, but then I'll go another couple of weeks or so before I think about watching him again.

I am conflicted on this night's The Office episode. I was the 'Cocktails' one and it had it's good moments and it's incredibly frustrating moments. As for the good moments- I was completely cute to have Jan say a 'That's what she said...' after saying "Why is this so hard..." I loved the fight in front of Dwight in the car. As for the bad---Why can't Roy have had more of a honeymoon period with Pam?? He went right back to being a tool. Now I am scared of what he is going to do to Jim. Isn't it funny though that women get drunk and feel like they need to be so honest and truthful. When a guy is drunk he will just go off at the drop of a hat.

I also really enjoyed 30 Rock tonight- I couldn't help myself from laughing out loud.

As for Scrubs, I'm totally loving Michael Weston who is Private Dancer, the soldier who is recovering from surgery that he just recently had done to help with his short-term memory loss from a war injury. I recognized him in Six Feet Under as the carjacker that tortured David and so I did a little IMDb search on him and found out that he had an in with Scrubs because he is a close friend of Zach Braff's and has been in 'Garden State' and 'The Last Kiss'. He is really dreamy- he has really beautiful eyes. I think that is what I like about him and also what made him extremely frightening on SFU. His eyes make him look really trusting and then bam- he was a crazy, violent psycho. Anyway- I'm going to have to check out 'The Last Kiss' just so I can see him.

Sword seized after man mistakes porn for rape - CNN.com

I'm not sure which guy I feel more sorry for, the poor guy watching the porno or the valiant guy who was just trying to make sure someone wasn't being hurt. What a way to get busted watching porn! It had to have been some freaky deeky shit too!

Bald and beautiful?

Well the whole Britney Spears bald thing is already old news and it's only 5:30 PM Saturday. I really don't have that much of a reaction to it other than 'Wow it really makes her ears stick out!' As shown by the fake bride cuts off her hair on her wedding day Youtube video- women can get really crazy and take it out on their hair.

I have done some really cruel things to my hair over the years. I have colored it many, many unnatural colors. I've given it terrible perms in hope of a natural wave- believe me-- there is no such thing as natural wave with perms! I have given myself bangs numerous times- some of which have been the really short unattractive kind. In my younger years (12 or 13) I had a permed mullet. Then I decided to not perm it anymore and I gelled it up spiky style. It looked like a raccoon hat- really.

Over my last 28 years on this earth I have come to realize one thing- my hair looks best if left the fuck alone. Does this mean that I have learned my lesson completely? I wish! At least once a week I look in the mirror and think about just chopping into it. I really have to fight the urge to do it every time. I also think about how much I loved the black color for the first couple weeks. Sometimes I have to actually slap myself to get out of the mood.

So basically-- I feel for you Britney!

YEEEEA!!! It's THE TODD Time.

YEEEEA!!! It's THE TODD Time.

How could I not check out the website after Thursday night's episode. Truth be told- I tried to check it out while I was watching the episode, but I couldn't get on. I wanted to do it all through the night (That's what she said!) but I couldn't! Give me a broadband high five! Yes!

Lost - Only fools are enslaved by time and space

Only for Lost fans who have seen the last episode. It is terrifying regularly, but listening to it backwards is giving me the crazies. If you want to check it out be brave and check your speaker volume.

Phyllis' Wedding

Here is the South Park version of Jim that someone spent a long time on and I just put it up willy nilly style.

Tonight's episode of The Office was really good. I wish they would have made it a longer episode though- it went too fast. My favorite moments were Pam realizing that Phyllis basically just took the plans for her and Roy's wedding and she was in fact going to her own wedding. Who knew that Phyllis was such a little sneak. I loved the Ryan and Kelly moments- Kelly wearing white and then Ryan spiking the bouquet away from Kelly. And of course the spider web of relationships that is Jim, Karen, Pam, and Roy. I am keeping my fingers crossed for Pam and Roy, but it was so sad to see Jim's reaction to seeing them walk out hand in hand.

All four of the NBC comedies were really good tonight. They finally were able to bring Jaime Pressly's pregnancy into the show, although they were really good at hiding it. It became my mission to try and see the obvious belly, but I barely could. I liked the opposite Darnell/Joy that was her half sister Liberty/and (well I don't remember the character's name- but it was the skinny guy from Road Trip).

Scrubs was good- as always- I knew that the reporter from TV Guide had a role in the episode as Kim's obsetrician, but when Kim announced what happened to the baby I thought huh? Why would she do that to JD? That breaks my heart.

I haven't always watched 30 Rock, but I did catch it tonight and it really is good.

Okay- as if that doesn't seem like tons of TV, I also caught the season premiere of Survivor Fiji. I really wasn't aware that it was tonight- until about 30 minutes before it started. That was a really unusual way for it to begin, it was interesting to see the dynamics of having 19 people living together and trying to get along.

What drew us to Anna Nicole - Yahoo! News

What drew us to Anna Nicole - Yahoo! News

This article pretty much sums up my whole view on Anna Nicole's death. One of my first thoughts was 'Dang it why couldn't it have been Paris Hilton?' I don't know if I should feel really bad to wish death on somebody, but she isn't a real person anyway so what the hey?.... I was just glad that at least a couple of other people think the same thing. But seriously dying at 39 with a 5 month old is really the worst.

Not in Portland

I am going to make it short and sweet. Lost is back. It is officially a show for former Deadwood actors to show up on. The beginning of the season it was Trixie (Paula Malcomson) as Colleen. Tonight it was Calamity Jane herself, Robin Weigert, who was Juliet's cancer-recovering (artificially?) pregnant sister. I really didn't prepare myself for getting back into the Lost state of mind so it was hard to jump right back in. Anyway- I need to get to bed- it was an extremely long day of work and driving and class and more driving and well I guess I already told you about watching Lost, so really that is it.
Looking at my taped shows right now I am noticing a destination theme amongst some of my shows. Lost's 'Not in Portland' and Gilmore Girls 'I'd Rather Be in Philadelphia', plus tomorrow will be the Scrubs 'My Road to Nowhere.'

Everything went well at my brother's colonscopy on Wednesday. It didn't show any concerns, and you know that it is a thorough procedure. I hope that he starts to feel better, but I am still worried about him.

Nina Simone - Feeling Good

Alright I know that this is incredibly old- but it is new to me and that's all that matters. Man I love that show.

Heroes daddy revelation

Well- Monday night's Heroes was a really good episode. It kind of is having it go a little Luke and Princess Leia on us though with the revelation that Nathan Petrelli is Claire's biological dad. No matter what the creators say they had to know that it seemed like there was some sort of strange sparks between Peter and Claire. It was just a little strange. I wonder when she will realize that Peter is related to her dad. The Sylar part was really good last night, I thought crazy dog mom was going to get it last night and I was a little excited because man is she annoying. I am starting to have an unnatural attraction to Horn Rimmed Glasses Bennett. I like a guy with an edge I guess. Despite everything though he is trying to save Claire which I can't say the same for her real dad. They say that some of the Heroes are not going to end up being good guys and he is the number one suspect for going to the bad side. There is no way that they can put Hiro or Peter on the evil side though- absolutely no way. The whole Jessica/Nikki, Ali Larter storyline and characters around her could be phased out in my opinion. When they come on the screen I cringe and kind of numb myself to what is going on. I can understand all of the other powers, but frankly having Jekyll/Hyde personalities doesn't count as special powers. Her husband and son however do have special powers so perhaps they could continue on.

On to other news, Lost returns tomorrow night!

My brother and mother are spending the night because my brother has to get a colonscopy. He has not been feeling well for quite a while and they just want to cover all the bases to find out what is going on with his digestive tract. I am praying that they find something to explain Nathan's symptoms. I of course hope it isn't serious, but I really hope there is something they can treat, because that is the worst thing for him that he feels terrible and the doctors can't explain why he is ill. Anyway I should be sleeping (on my couch) because I work at 7:45, but I will be up much earlier because they have to be up at ass crack of dawn. night

Astronaut charged with kidnap attempt - Yahoo! News

Astronaut charged with kidnap attempt - Yahoo! News

This was so sad to see. Astronauts are supposed to be these big heroes. Instead this woman is exposed as a jealous woman who was so desperate for a guy that she resorted to wearing a diaper in order to confront her competition. It is really sad.

My Boys Marathon

I am watching the cool new TBS show My Boys. I watched the last couple of episodes in the season and I saw that a marathon was coming on today. It is really a funny show and if you can check out the show. Jim Gaffigan always reminds me of my brother Nathan. I really don't know why- I guess just because he is a big blonde guy. I have not watched any of the Superbowl so quite frankly I haven't seen any of the awesome commercials or when Prince whipped down his pants and proved he is a she- (okay I'm fairly sure that didn't happen).

SNL - The Dakota Fanning Show

I really don't need to explain it- it speaks for itself.

I thought the boars on Lost were scary

The fellow in the pictures is Larry Earley. He lives about 30 miles from Orlando, in the very rural community of Okahumpka, just off the Florida turnpike in Lake County, Florida. He has 20 acres o! f land and on it, a few cows and horses. Mostly it's pasture land that is fenced with woods surrounding him.He is neighbored by a larger cattle ranch. His neighbor has complained for several years that wild hogs had been raiding his cattle feeders and salt licks.Last month he saw what he thought was a cow in his pond and went to see if it was stuck in the mud and would have to be pulled out! When he got close enough to realize it was a hog, the thing made a charge at him. He had driven his truck down to the pond and carries a pistol in! it (as any Florida redneck would, and I say that with genuine affection). He got his handgun and when it came at him again, he shot it twice and killed it.Wild hogs in Florida usually run from 100-400 pounds with a 400 pounder being a monster. Because this one had been feasting on grain for several years it had grown to mammoth size. When Larry took it to the processor it weighed in at over 1100 pounds! The meat has no wild taste, as it was grain fed; and Larry is quite the hero. He has fed many fireman and provided the homeless shelter in downtown Orlando with a couple of meals.
My sister sent me this as a forward- and at first I couldn't see the pictures. When I finally saw them it scared the bejeezus out of me. That is just wild that something can get that massively scary. But here's a scarier thought- what if he is the runt of the litter? Aaaa!

Paula Abdul - Cold Hearted

Do you ever get something in your head and you have to look at it right away. Thank god for YouTube because I can see all the old shit I always think. I was thinking about this video all day- I hadn't seen it for a long time. I miss that Paula Abdul.

Scrubs - Republicans - His Story IV - Episode 607

This was the best part of this last week's Scrubs.

When Harry Met Sally - (recut)

I saw this on Best Week Ever- it is completely crazy what a little scary music can do to change a favorite and beloved movie.

Reading got hotter!
