Rainn Wilson mania!

I have a problem- I am addicted to Rainn Wilson. I can't get enough of him. When I see him on Six Feet Under I feel giddy. I just had to share this picture of him, because it makes me happy. Damn!

Family Guy - Dance Number with Gene Kelly

I guess this was on the newest Family Guy this last week. It should cheer up my brother Nate who isn't quite feeling good. It doesn't matter what cartoon you put there it will still look cute.

The Office: The Best of Andy Bernard

If you don't watch the greatest comedy on television you might not know much about Andy. Other than Dwight he is the most unlikable co-worker ever. Enjoy!

Best Week Ever » Blog Archive » Top Chef: Mock, Shock and Two Smoking A-Holes

I am so thankful that I am not the only one who feels the same way about Top Chef- big suprise I watch it every once and a while. I haven't watched every episode especially the early ones, but I have watched enough that I know that how mean everyone has been to Marcel. I feel bad for him, even if he is kind of a tool. I am pretty mad at Ilan for goading Ilia into accusing him of cheating. He certainly didn't have any balls convincing her to do it and then letting her get blasted by the judges. I want to see a reunion show because I want them to actually try to stick up for that shitty behavior. I know how it is when someone is so annoying that you feel like you have to do something to get even, but frankly you just feel like shit afterwards.

Okay that's all- I fell asleep when I got home and now I'm going to have trouble getting to sleep!

Happy Birthday Amy!

It really doesn't look like Timothy Olyphant does it? It was taken at the premiere of his new romantic comedy 'Catch and Release'. I prefer it when he looks like he hasn't had a shower for a couple of days- is that weird? I had to put up a picture of HRG because I have noticed that Horned Rim Glasses from Heroes looks like a slightly older version of Timothy. Enjoy Amy on your 35th birthday!

I'm calling it

I recorded this last Grease reality show and I have to call the winners. It will be duh- Austin and Ashley Spencer. It is pretty much obvious unless of course they majorly screw up. I hate to say that I am pretty drawn in- I love hearing Grease songs over and over again- so sue me!

Black Super Bowl coaches make history - CNN.com

Black Super Bowl coaches make history - CNN.com

Hold your socks- this is one of the few times that I will ever discuss sports, but I was amazed at this today. I was up in Brookings watching football with my dad and after Denver had already wrapped up the win the sportscasters mentioned that the coach would be making history as the first African American coach ever to make it to the Super Bowl. I just found that amazing that it hadn't happened yet. Then my dad told me that it might be two African American coaches if the Colts won. And they did! It was a nice first to see happen!

Sweep the Leg video

This video rocks! It can't have been 20 years since the orginal Karate Kid, can it? If so the actor who played Johnny and Ralph Macchio have held up quite well. Plus Mr. Belding is in it and Christine from Yes Dear. I love it.

Scrubs--Musical

I'm way too excited for Thursday's Musical Scrubs episode. I'll only watch it five times tomorrow!

Thursday, January 18, 2007

Well- Did it live up to all my expectations?

Yes and no- it (Scrubs musical episode) was good, however already knowing the two funniest songs I was hoping for another really funny one. I didn't really laugh out loud over the other ones- but Scrubs is like pizza or sex- it doesn't matter what they do, I will still laugh like a fool.
The Office "The Return"-
A character has to be pretty bad if even Michael finds him annoying. Everything he said about Andy was hilarious. "He's always up in my 'bidness', which is ebonics for being in my face and annoying the bejesus out of me."
"Who's that sports announcer that bit that lady, Marv something? Andy is like Marv something. Great sportscaster, big weirdo creep."
And who didn't see some crazy outburst over the phone? Remember how he reacted to the Jello at the old office? "That was an overreaction."
Karen kind of deserved what she got in this episode. She was shutting Jim out when he was trying desperately to get her to be his partner in crime. You can't blame him for seeking out Pam.

I found one reason to like Angelina Jolie

I have to admit I couldn't stand Angelina and her gigantic lips, but I realize that we share a mutual hate of Ryan Seacrest. When I saw her snub him during the interview (which I frankly thought she just chose to be quiet), I got a lot of respect for her. He is just such an undeserving talentless piece of shit and he is my main reason I don't like to watch American Idol. That and Paula Abdul. I can take her being a drunk, but she has become a mean drunk when she is listening to (in my mind) average singers. They really need to replace her- she wouldn't be missed.

Watch Scrubs tonight!!
I'm so excited! I'm going to have to have complete silence to enjoy this awesome show. Plus, of course, The Office. I can't forget that show- love it!

Sorry about the psycho amount of Youtube posts

If anyone noticed I had about fifteen different Youtube posts. I kept trying over the weekend to post the last four videos and it would say it would appear soon and then no go. I tend to obsess over small things and obviously it showed. I'm feeling kind of foolish now. Anyway- you should check out the videos they are pretty funny. I'm also going to put up the Jake Glyennhaal Dreamgirls one- on a rainy or snowy day.

SNL -- Bronx Beat

SNL -- Laser Cats 2

This is so stupid but hilarious.

Jim and Dwight's Sales Call

Here are some of the good Dwight and Jim moments from this last week's Traveling Salesmen- love it!

HEROES -- MASI OKA

Here's another one- it starts with Masi and show pretty much the same stuff as Milo.

HEROES -- MILO VENTIMIGLIA

More Heroes previews- and you get to see Milo's banging well... bangs I guess! Enjoy!

Glamour shot makeover

I totally love Thursday nights- it is about the only night that there is any decent television on. I instantly know when I should decide to not like someone- when they talk about getting to watch their favorite show and I get excited that maybe they love The Office and before I can even ask they mention Grey's Anatomy!! Yuck! It makes my stomach turn and I'm sure that I look at them like they are crazy. All my coworkers and people I have classes with like that piece of shit show. But enough of that- I wanna talk about good television.
The Office was my favorite show of the night. The episode Traveling Salesmen showed us a different side of their jobs. There were a couple of make me yelp moments (out of excitement and/or nervousness). The first one was when Jim showed the picture of himself and Dwight when they used to go on sales together- it was so cute. (How old is Jim supposed to be? I'll have to check it out.) Another cute moment was the whole Karen/Phyllis makeover- they looked 80's fabulous! I also liked the flow of Dwight and Jim at their sales pitch. Calling a rival's customer service during the pitch and being put on hold- then calling their customer service aka: Kelly and having her yammer on. I totally loved seeing Angela happy- which is obviously only going to be for one day because of Dwight resigning! He did it because he was trying to protect his relationship with Angela. The real shocker (for me) was when Phyllis told Karen about Jim having a thing for Pam. The Office has some real kick you in the stomach moments. I don't know which one to feel more sorry for Pam, Karen, Jim, or Roy. Jim obviously really does like Karen, but he has pretty much made it clear that he considers her a rebound. I flip flop between feeling sorry for the girls- episode to episode. I also feel for Roy. He realizes that he lost someone he loves and is trying to become her friend again. I'm officially way too into this show!

Scrubs made me cry- I can't stand Carla being sad. She's suffering from post partum depression and is in denial of it. I think that Judy Reyes deserves to be nominated for her acting. The show is always hilarious, but I love it when it deals with serious issues. But enough of serious- next week is the musical episode! Yay! I am going be singing those songs all the time. I'm already finding myself humming Everything comes down to Poo while in the bathroom. I demand that everyone watch next week!

How I Met Your Mother: Barney's Dirty Dancing

Here's the Barney flashback that I talked about last night- one word- Awesome!

Conan - Donald Trump

I can't help myself- I had to put this Conan clip up because it is just too funny. The guy doing Donald Trump is so dead on- it made me stop breathing from laughter.

HEROES RETURNS JANUARY 22

I'm way too excited to have this show back. It doesn't give much away- but it does give a little insight. Claire's guy friend was in it so he will still have a part in the show.... I'll have to rewatch it for more clues.

Are you the one that I want?

I taped 'Grease: You're the One that I Want' and watched it tonight. I used to put on productions in my parents garage. I always got to be Sandy- my garage-my rules! I also always got to be Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors- but that's another story. Anyway- I have to agree with another review that I read about the reality show. Why have the bigger girls that you obviously were never going to let through to the next round do the dance audition? So they don't let age appropriate bigger girls go on to the next round- but they do let a John Travolta lookalike go through. Oh- and I meant that in the present tense! He's in his forties! What the fuck! I don't mind a old man playing Danny Zuko in a community theater production especially in a really small town, but come on!! My fondest memory was having Jarrod Emick as Danny touching my hand as he ran down the aisle at the SDSU production. All I could think about was when Joey tries to look 18.

Also How I Met Your Mother tonight was funny- it was all about the first time having sex that the characters had. Poor Robin had her boyfriend say he was gay while they started having sex. Lily had the same view on losing virginity that my college roommate. If it was just in it didn't count. Sure! and oral sex isn't sexual relations --Bill Clinton! Anyway- it was a cute episode and it made my day when Barney was retelling his tale of lost innocence. He even showed it- I'll have to put it up if I find the clip.

Goodnight- I'm already in bed (at least in my head) night

Yum- Milo

I just love him- It almost makes me want to see Rocky- I said almost! I'm so ready for the return of Heroes.
I went to Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny tonight with my brother Nate. It was really funny and it is going to have to be a drunk watch in the future.
Thursday was a good return for comedy- all three favorites were at their best. The episode of My Name is Earl was about the town folks rewatching their Cops episode. It was priceless! Scrubs was good- but man! I'm way too excited for the musical episode! I practically have the two songs memorized. I just bought Season 2 of The Office- I'm not sure how many episodes I've never seen- at least two, possibly three.
I just have to mention something- how completely pathetic would a 'star' have to be to do Surreal Life twice?? Especially for a show that claims to make them a A class star- what? By default you are no longer eligible for that distinction. I'm not going to deny that I won't watch it every once and a while- I like a good car crash every once and a while. I just worry about the self esteem or lack of it that these people have to go back on this show.
