Glamour shot makeover

I totally love Thursday nights- it is about the only night that there is any decent television on. I instantly know when I should decide to not like someone- when they talk about getting to watch their favorite show and I get excited that maybe they love The Office and before I can even ask they mention Grey's Anatomy!! Yuck! It makes my stomach turn and I'm sure that I look at them like they are crazy. All my coworkers and people I have classes with like that piece of shit show. But enough of that- I wanna talk about good television.
The Office was my favorite show of the night. The episode Traveling Salesmen showed us a different side of their jobs. There were a couple of make me yelp moments (out of excitement and/or nervousness). The first one was when Jim showed the picture of himself and Dwight when they used to go on sales together- it was so cute. (How old is Jim supposed to be? I'll have to check it out.) Another cute moment was the whole Karen/Phyllis makeover- they looked 80's fabulous! I also liked the flow of Dwight and Jim at their sales pitch. Calling a rival's customer service during the pitch and being put on hold- then calling their customer service aka: Kelly and having her yammer on. I totally loved seeing Angela happy- which is obviously only going to be for one day because of Dwight resigning! He did it because he was trying to protect his relationship with Angela. The real shocker (for me) was when Phyllis told Karen about Jim having a thing for Pam. The Office has some real kick you in the stomach moments. I don't know which one to feel more sorry for Pam, Karen, Jim, or Roy. Jim obviously really does like Karen, but he has pretty much made it clear that he considers her a rebound. I flip flop between feeling sorry for the girls- episode to episode. I also feel for Roy. He realizes that he lost someone he loves and is trying to become her friend again. I'm officially way too into this show!

Scrubs made me cry- I can't stand Carla being sad. She's suffering from post partum depression and is in denial of it. I think that Judy Reyes deserves to be nominated for her acting. The show is always hilarious, but I love it when it deals with serious issues. But enough of serious- next week is the musical episode! Yay! I am going be singing those songs all the time. I'm already finding myself humming Everything comes down to Poo while in the bathroom. I demand that everyone watch next week!
